The “Core” is a dated concept. You are not an apple and there is not one muscle, such as your 2-6 pack that is going to be the answer to all of your symptoms. Your body is a synergistic group of muscles, nerves, joints, ligaments and tendons that all have certain jobs to help with stability and mobility. We help you move the way you want to and part of that treatment is to help you become aware of the systems in your body so when you exercise, train or move, your patterns of movement are optimized! So if that means we spend time helping you feel various muscles (always begins with breath and the pelvic floor) and then helping you exercise or move in a way that is more beneficial for your body, that is where we excel.
